Professor

Changli Xue, Professor, Department of Law,serves as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the Humanities and Lawcollegeat BUCT. Received Bachelor degree from Renmin University of China in 1991, and completed Master and JDdegrees at Jilin University between 1999 and 2006.Recognized BUCT’s Master Supervisor, visiting scholar at St. Mary's University Law School, acclaimed as a distinguished educator at BUCT and the recipient of the Beijing Outstanding Talent Project award.
Professor Xueholdsthe position of Executive Director at China Law Society Social Law Studies Institute, and serves as a director at both the Association of Legislation of CLS and China Association for Legal Education Studies.Additionally, he fulfills roles as an Executive Director and member of the Academic Committee within the Beijing Law Society, and concurrently holds the esteemed position of President at the Beijing Safety Production Law Research Association.
Scientific Research
Research Areas: Social law and jurisprudence.
Professor Xue has overseen over 10 projects at national, provincial, and ministerial levels, with a publication record exceeding 50 academic papers. Notable publications includeTheory on Labor Rights, Key Provisions of the PRC Law on Safe Production, Citizens and Labor Contract Law, and Citizens and Labor Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Law. Additionally, he authored four books and edited four textbooks, among which the concise course on the new Law on Safe Production stands out.HisTheory on Labor Rights was honored with the third prize in the Outstanding Youth Achievement at the first China Society of Social Law Studies.
Education and Teaching
Professor Xue has led a pioneering effort inNew Liberal Arts Research and Reform Practice projectcommissioned by Ministry of Education and alongside a teaching reform initiative sanctioned by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission.
He has made substantial contributionsto six national and provincial educational reform projects. Acknowledging his pivotal role, he received a second-class award in the seventh Beijing Higher Education Outstanding Teaching Achievement competition.His courseon "Labor and Social Security Law" has been recognized a top-tier college course.

Social Activities
Professor Xue holds the distinction of beingthe founding member of the Beijing Safety Production Legal Research Association and initiated its establishment. He serves as a legislative consulting expert for China Law Societyand offers expert counsel for the development and refinement of legislative frameworks, notably contributing to the formulation and amendment of laws and regulations such as the "Safety Production Law".
He holds the esteemed position of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Justice, Beijing Municipal Office of Social Science Planning and China Law Society.He serves as an expert for China Employment Training Technical Guidance Centre of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security in editing and reviewing teaching materials. He is also recognized as the expert of People's Daily Online Mooc for Law Schools. Additionally,hecontributes as the judge for the second and third "Top Ten Outstanding Young Jurists of the Capital" awards (2016, 2024), as well as the fourth "Outstanding Chinese Legal Research Awards" (2017).
