On  the afternoon of April 28, 2024, the final of the “Second Law Essay and  Case Analysis Competition” of Beijing University of Chemical Technology  was successfully held in Changping Campus.

Professor  Zhang Jianwei, Dean of the College of Humanities and Law, attended the  competition and delivered a speech. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to  the guest experts, Professor Wang Canfa and Professor Cao Shouye, for  their presence. Professor Zhang emphasized the importance of hosting the  competition well, developing its unique features, building a strong  brand, and significantly enhancing the quality and social impact of the  law program.

The  thesis and case analysis competition aimed to enhance the academic  research capabilities of law students of our university, respond to  contemporary issues, and encourage academic innovation. After a rigorous  and professional preliminary review, 15 students were selected to enter  the finals. The competition fully demonstrated the serious research  attitude, excellent academic skills, high academic enthusiasm, and sharp  analytical ability of our law students. It also highlighted their  stance on conducting academic research oriented towards solving  practical problems.
