On the afternoon of March 27th, Geng Wei, Dean of the Foreign Languages College of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, led a delegation of 6 people including heads of the English Department, Foreign Languages Department, and Discipline Office to visit the College of Humanities and Law, focusing on research and exchange about the construction of the English major discipline. The exchange meeting was chaired by Zhang Jianwei, Dean of the College of Humanities and Law.

Dean Zhang Jianwei warmly welcomed his counterpart Geng Wei and other delegation members. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the English major undergraduate education positioning and characteristics, student employment and career development, future development plans, degree programs establishment, and laboratories construction. This laid a solid foundation for further cooperation and joint construction of the English disciplines between the two institutions.

Apart from Dean Zhang Jianwei, other host members from the College of Humanities and Law were Zhang Ju, Vice Director from the English Department, Song Hongliang, Deputy Secretary from the Party Branch of Foreign Languages Department, Zhu Dongxiang, Associate Researcher, Chen Xing, Associate Professor from Foreign Languages Department, and Jin Jing, teacher from English Department.
