On December 28, 2024, Beijing University of Chemical Technology Faculty and Staff Basketball Tournament was successfully concluded in the East Campus, and the College of Humanities and Law (CHL) won the championship for the second consecutive year after 2023 by virtue of its excellent team strength and tenacious fighting spirit.

Composed of Pi Lizhong, Negati, Wang Lancang, Liu Jun and Zhou Peng, the CHL team showcased their high basketball skills and perseverance in the game.

In the group stage, the CHLteam showed great strength. They won three games in a row and advanced to the knockout stage with excellent performance. In these three group games, they cooperated tacitly and harmoniously, and performed very well in both offense and defense. Their accurate shooting, skillful passing and active defense made it difficult for the opponents to resist. They went all out for each game.

In the knockout rounds, the CHL team in turn beat College of Life Science and Technology and  College of Information Science and Technology teams. In the match against College of Life Science and Technology, both sides had a fierce competition. With rich experience and excellent tactical execution, the CHL players stabilized their position at the critical moment and finally won the game.

In the championship match, CHL and College of Chemical Engineering had a thrilling duel. The game was very intense and full of confrontation. The players from both sides tried their best to fight for every ball. CHL team always maintained a high degree of concentration and calmness during the game. They played well on the offensive end, with Pi Lizhong’s accurate shooting, Negati’s sharp breakthrough, Wang Lancang’s clever passing, Liu Jun’s tenacious defense, and Zhou Peng’s stable play, all of which contributed greatly to the team’s victory. On the defensive end, they did not slacken off and kept a close eye on their opponents. In the end, the CHL team won the championship with a score of 21/5 against College of Chemical Engineering.
